Summer Camp 2026

The Accessible Scholastic Experience outdoor summer camp is dedicated to promoting empathy and inclusivity in order to build a diverse learning community. Campers will explore play in nature, create art complete science investigations, and participate in team building challenges! In addition to these traditional camp experiences, our campers will have opportunities to practice mathematics and literacy skills to continue their academic journey throughout the summer.

Camp Need to Knows

  • Campers are required to be entering kindergarten-6th grade in the fall and be able to use the restroom independently
  • A $30 deposit is due to secure a spot for each camper, each session
  • Campers will need to be signed in and out by an approved adult each day
  • Campers are expected to follow community rules and camp behavior expectations which will be established, agreed upon, and communicated the first day of each session 
  • Families will receive periodic email updates leading up to and throughout the camp sessions

Session 1: Water Week

June 22-26

This summer camp week will focus on the theme of "Water," exploring its importance, fun activities, and the science behind it. The camp will engage elementary students through interactive learning, games, and creative projects.

Session 2: Air Week

June 29-July 2nd

This week we’ll be exploring the theme of “air.” We’ll study its properties, methods for harnessing its energy, as well as how clouds are formed and the importance of air quality preservation.

Session 3: Earth Week

July 6-10

This summer camp week will focus on the theme of “Earth.” We’ll explore Earth’s natural elements, geographic formations, and ways to conserve the elements that support life on our planet.

Session 4: Birds Week

July 13-17

This week’s theme of “Birds” will bring exploration through forested zones as we observe the animals in their natural habitats. We’ll learn about bird morphology and how they are suited to their environment as well as how to do our part to keep their homes habitable.

Session 6: Wizard Week

July 27-31st

This week’s theme of “Wizardry” will have campers’ imagination on full blast! We’ll craft our own wands, explore “potions,” and bring our own “magic” to the forest!

July 20-24th

This week our theme of “Insects” will take us into logs, soil, and more! We’ll explore what makes an insect an insect, where they live, what they eat, and how their bodies help them thrive in their environments!

Session 7: Reptiles Week

August 3-7th

This week, our theme of “reptiles” will provide investigations of reptile morphology, habitat and their contributions to our environment.

  • ​Camp will be held at Cromwell Park in Shoreline

  • Camp will be held outdoors from 9:00 am-4:00 pm

  • Campers will need to come with a backpack containing the following items each day

    • Lunch and Snacks

    • ​Full Water Bottle

    • Sunscreen

    • Hat

    • Layers (for inclement weather)

    • Shoes with toe protection

  • Please ensure campers do not bring the following items

    • Toys

    • Electronics (personal trackers ok)

    • Weapons 

  • There is no before or after care offered. Should you arrive before camp starts at 9:00 am, please wait with your camper(s) until camp officially opens. If you are running late, please call to notify of your estimated time of arrival. After a 10 minute grace period there will be a fee of $5 per minute.

Additional Need to Knows

  • To be eligible for a full refund including the deposit, all summer camp cancelations and changes must be submitted and confirmed via email by March 15. After March 15, deposits will be non refundable. Cancelations and changes will be accepted for refund (minus deposit) until seven days prior to the camp session. For example, the remaining payment of $330 for the session beginning June 22 would be due by June 8 and refundable until June 15. 

  • Verbal cancelations or cancelations submitted through other channels cannot be accepted. Deposits are transferable between participants.  

  • No refunds or credits will be given for absences, withdrawals, disciplinary suspensions, or removal of a camper. Failure to complete attendance requirements, including electronic forms and waivers or payment, that result in days missed from camp will not be refunded or credited.

  • Weekly day camp fees will not be pro-rated, refunded, or credited for missed days of camp in a week.

    • Exceptions to this policy may only be made in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the organization’s leadership.
